Beaver Creek Resort trails are typically open summer through fall and may have spring wildlife closures or weather closures throughout the year.
Need to Know
Although there is limited parking at Arrowhead Village, accessing either from downtown Edwards or the Beaver Creek day lots is the best option.
Description
The Ute Trail climbs between Arrowhead Village and Bachelor Gulch, creating great options for loops with Village-to-Village, Elkhorn, Mud Springs, and A-10. The trail is non-technical and it climbs casually for the most part, with a few more aerobically challenging sections. Riders can descend on the
Apache Trail which is on your left, 0.6 miles from the top of the Ute trail.
Plenty of long smooth runs on the descent, but tighter corners will keep your speed in check.
It is now uphill-only but don't expect everyone to follow the rules... The trail is multi-use and has steady hiker traffic in summer. Please keep other users in mind when descending. The first 0.75 miles at the bottom receive full afternoon sun, then the trail moves to shady forest for the remainder of the climb.
