Need to Know

Usually can only be accessed mid-May to mid-November.

Description

Red Cliffs Trail can be accessed from the Kirkwood Mountain bike park service road. A quick ascent puts you at the base of Chairlift #2, which is where the trail starts. Stunning wildflowers early to mid-summer, with good views of the mountain.

The trail is up and down the whole way with some tough wash crossing. The trail follows the valley all the way to Highway 88. This trail can be connected to the Meadow Trail for one big loop. There are also multiple spots that will take you back to the pavement if you don't want to ride the whole thing.
