Description
Multiple access points to this system. It's not really marked at all, and the trails cross one another all over the place. My ride of this system did not catch all segments, and a couple of segments were doubled over. There are some challenging climbs and descents to be found and very rooted sections.
Be careful of others coming the opposite direction on the singletrack, as there is no direction indicated. This trail system could be made so much better with maps, signage, controlled directions, and maintenance. Not sure if there is one, but it seems like a local club needs to maintain and better refine this system.
This system is along a river bed so it can be muddy in low areas depending on river height. There are trails that are well above the river height that are not affected by the river height. Mix of steep and technical singletrack as well as flat and wide trails.
Neat area on the east side of State Hwy 42 with there being a quarry lake. There is also a frisbee golf course running right alongside these trails on the east side that starts at the quarry area parking lot. There is a trail under state highway 42 alongside the river to get from one side to the other.
One thing to note is there are a lot more trails than what this map shows you. Once you get there, you'll see the different trails jut off as you are riding around. Definitely worth exploring the area a little to find the different trails.
