Yeti Tribe Gathering: Main Ride, Mountain Village Gondola

The Tribe is attending in full force this year. We have two routes to the gondola so we can load both stations in Telluride and Town of Mountain Village efficiently. Looking to for a warm-up before hitting the gondola? Take Route 2 to climb up towards the Town of Mountain Village for a gentle 900' of climbing along Meadows Trail and Jurassic to the base of Mountain Village. If you want to kick off your day with laps in the Telluride Bike Park, this option will also bring you to the base of Village Express to access trails in the bike park (must have a bike park lift ticket to access bike park trails).

Remember, the more we split the group, the less you'll have to wait in line at either end of the gondola.

This route includes the free Mountain Village gondola to the St. Sophia Station from mile ~3.6 to 4.5.

From the top of the Gondola at Station St. Sophia, continue along the main route on Prospect #413 to the new Magic Meadows Trail #515 through the Alta Lakes area, across HWY back to Sunshine Trail AKA T35 and Galloping Goose #499 back to Tribe HQ.

If you're looking to tack on extra suffer miles for the weekend, check out the Tribe Gathering Alternative Route. This starts and ends at Tribe HQ and with a net elevation gain/loss of 2400'. This will not be included in the Main Group Ride on Saturday. No course markings or event medics will be present.
