Description
This is one of the many fun bike trails at the Vail Lake Resort. This one starts on the top of a small knoll and drops straight in, allowing the rider to get up to speed very quickly on the loose and rutted track. The trail follows the spine of a ridge which will present a couple of very punchy climbs that may force riders to get off and push.
Erosion on the trail has been evidenced frequently, so don't ride it blind, as some ruts can form into very big hazards and sections of the trail could even be washed out. The rider will get to experience a sweet view with exposure on both sides as the trail winds its way back around to the base of the mountain and finally it drops off to end on a big, wide dirt road. The final section of the trail is the easiest and typically the fastest. Very fun.
