Need to Know

Bikes are not allowed to descend on Powerline Trail so you'll have to climb back to the top of Ginny Trail after descending this.

Description

This is the most technical trail we have in the Fort Collins area.

The first half of this trail is mostly flat with small rock obstacles going up and down. The second half gets a bit more steep and includes a series of moderately sized slabs, drops, and narrow sections. There are multiple alternative lines marked with either a black diamond or a double black diamond depending on the difficulty of the line. Many of the features have a blind exit so walking them before attempting to ride them is recommended.

If you are riding this area for the first time, I recommend riding up Ginny Trail. If it feels like that is pushing your technical abilities, you may consider forgoing this trail as it is more difficult than Ginny Trail.

Even if you can only clear 10% of the obstacles, the views from OTR are some of the best at Bobcat.
