Description

Eye to Eye is a 2.3-mile single trail connecting Lower Arapahoe to Ice Hill. This trail is a difficult old school downhill and unridable uphill (for mortals (there are a few masochists that attempt the climb)).

Eye to eye is washed-out and often very steep trail that's mostly loose rocks, sand and gravel, root bar, and boulder drops. It makes for a technical and challenging trail to find flow on. It is not everyones cup of tea, but it is a special trail to have in the valley and is definitely worth the ride. There are a couple difficult rocky uphill sections mid way down the first decent.

The trail works in and out of treed areas where the dirt holds up well and deforested areas that are loose and rocky. Enjoy the fabulous views of Winter Park and the Continental Divide.

Not perfect by any means but I enjoy this trail. Except for the climbs the corners come together with work, and the chutes are a riot.

This is not bad. Rough and loose. And steep. And generally hard. Hope it doesn't get neutered.

made the mistake riding uphill on this trail... too much loose rock / dirt to enjoy it.. Downhill not bad but not fun enough to seek this trail out
