Description

This trail follows the same drainage as West Cascade Creek Trail but it has an entirely different character. The western route is more consistently downhill, which would make you think it flows better, but it's pretty herky-jerky thanks to big embedded rocks. This route has a lot more up and down, and you may find yourself pushing up some of the steeper climbs, but the downhill segments flow better thanks to steeper grades and fewer awkward rock gardens.
