Need to Know

There are two portapotties at the trailhead but no running water. The main parking area holds 20-ish vehicles with an overflow spot on the grass for another 15-ish. There are additional parking lots across I-70 and down the road.

Description

As the newest addition to the Floyd Hill area, this downhill-only bike-optimized trail is a welcome addition to the Front Range area. Expect rocky outcroppings, rock berms, dirt berms, double rollers, and tabletops. Optional features include rock drops, rock gaps, and 4-6 foot hucks. All of the expert features on this trail are optional but taking the easy lines still classifies it as a black diamond.

Uphill was no fun... but thankfully short. But the downhill on The Sluice was totally worth it! First time on the trail.. Loved it! 1.3mi — 2h 00m

Some big intimidating drops, but man it's hard to find the rhythm on this track, especially considering it's crazy over built.
