Overview
The Rose Valley Lake Loop is a great ride that circles the Rose Valley Lake through a network of exciting trails and great views. It offers switchbacked climbs to terrific vistas, and fun, flowy singletrack.
Description
The Rose Valley
Lake Loop starts at the end of Rosewood Drive along the Reservoir Road access trail before meeting up with
Daze of Roses, which is a fun switchbacked climb. The ride starts with the
Lake Loop, but after following the lake and taking in some great views, it veers off to
Sweet Street for a quick climb and some steep switchbacks down to connect back up with the
Lake Loop.
Once back on
Lake Loop, there are a few trails that venture off to the left, but stay close to the lake as you go around the north section of the lake. The next climb is up
Swamp Donkey, which is a series of switchbacks and great views. Take a minute at the top of the climb to look back over the lake before breaking off to
The Elevator. A couple quick connections including
Grant's Grind, and
WooHoo before ripping down
RSVP.
