Very enjoyable first downhill with a moderate incline finishing with a flat section before a final easy incline.

Description

This section starts at Antelope Junction where B West and B East meet. The first section of this trail is a very fun singletrack downhill that follows an entrenchment through the sagebrush. This section is compacted dirt with little to no obstacles such as the rocks you see on Tim's Ridge. The downhill then meets up with an old road which is now a doubletrack trail.

The full loop continues right along the old road where the road eventually curves left and goes up a moderate incline along a fence that can be peddled. If you choose to go left on the road, you can shortcut the loop and cut out the next incline and downhill sections. Once you get to the top of the incline on the full loop, the path curves left again where two fences meet. The downhill section here is very easy and follows the fence for a little while. It goes straight on a doubletrack with no curves.

Eventually, the trail will leave the road and continue left onto a singletrack trail. The trail is marked by wooden trail poles. Follow the wooden trail poles back to Redtail Hawk Junction passing the entrance to B West giving you the option to go continue along The Grand Canyon, Tim's Ridge or Pail.

Went straight to this downhill section first thing. Love the downhill section in the gully. I skipped the full loop and shortcut back to west traverse 0.3mi

Love the first downhill section that follows the gully. I ran it multiple times using the old road shortcut to skip the easier more mellow section. 13.2mi — 1h 58m
