Description

Tooni Gap Road is a well-maintained gravel road (suitable for low clearance passenger cars) that permits easy access to the Toccoa River Swinging Bridge, the longest swinging bridge east of the Mississippi River.

From the parking lot at the end, it is a short walk on the Benton MacKaye Trail (bikes not permitted) to the bridge.

If you carry the bike up the other side across the bridge, you can make an easy loop with Toccoa River Road FS 333.
