Description

The trail starts off mild, but has a lot of short, steep climbs. This is definitely a challenging trail for hiking and biking. There's some off-camber portions to be prepared for, but nothing dangerous.

There are some really neat, huge boulders along the trail that offer lots of picture opportunities with friends and family as well as a couple decent views of the dam. Most of the lake views are obstructed by trees though. You can get better views of the lake on the adjacent trail, Table Mound Hiking Trail, but it's not built for biking.

The trail is bi-directionally and is fun both directions. The club is working on making the steep climbs into switchbacks.
