Description

This trail starts at a parking area at the north end of the Buescher State Park Lake off the main Park Road 1E. It is a narrowish singletrack through mature oak and cedar hardwood forest (with shade!) and a couple of creek crossings. It terminates at an overlook off of Park Road 1C where it also connects with the Pine Gulch Trail.

The first half mile has interpretive signs to point out the local flora.

There are occasional roots in the trail and some short, steep sections but overall the trail is pretty easy.
