Features Views

There is a parking path on Beckleysville Rd on the right as you head towards the reservoir. The trail end on Gunpowder Rd can also serve as a parking area. The trail end near the reservoir does not have decent parking. There are some private residents that have some singletrack trails from their property to the fire road so please respect private property.

Need to Know

There are no parking fees. Please stay on the fire roads with your bike. There are no restrooms. Closest town is Hampstead. A-town Bar and Grille is not to far of a drive. You may find horse riders on the trail.

Description

From the trailhead head down the fire road. There are no trail markers but there really is only one main trail and there are no logs on the path. About 0.4 miles there is a steep climb.

Around the 1 mile mark there is a fork. Stay right at the fire road split and follow the fire road to Gunpowder Rd.

Right before Gunpowder Rd the fire road splits again stay to the right you'll hit Gunpowder Rd just after 3 miles.
