A mix of doubletrack, singletrack and a small stretch of gravel helps connect the area trails together.

Will see an occasional horseback rider.

Start at Horizon Loop Trail #701 for an easy climb on singletrack, veering right at all forks until hitting gravel road. On gravel road, again stay right at every fork until the gas well and Lange Canyon Trail #712 sign; this is the beginning of the big climb.

After reaching the top, have fun bombing down the drops. Stay left at the bottom of the drops and follow the 4x4 trail until again seeing the Lange Canyon Trail #712, this time heading left, and continue to follow until passing through a Forest Service gate.

Continue to follow alongside the gravel road up a small climb, follow singletrack down Sauls Declivity. Continue to follow singletrack. When seeing the next singletrack fork, veer right and follow Skimmer Trail #718, which connects back to the Horizon Loop Trail #701.
