Description

Another old mining road, this trail drops off the upper section of the Frazer Mountain Road and descends towards the Marmot Trail. It also provides the most direct ascent route to Frazer's summit from the west side of the mountain.

Access to or from the Marmot Trail requires hiking and carrying your bike across a couple hundred feet of loose scree and small boulders that have fallen where the lowest section of the road used to be, you can see where it picks up again in the forest.

The lower half is steep and the upper half gently rolls through a mix of conifer forest and across grassy meadows near treeline.
