This trail is close to the main Mountwood Park Marina parking areas.

Description

The Beginner B trail segment of the NICA beginner loop starts just past the Beginner A terminus as it crosses the Walter Taitt Trail. Masterfully designed and exactingly hand built by Dwight Cartmel and his cadre of tenacious volunteers using IMBA standards, this trail has truly awesome beginner flow, switchbacks and beginner-friendly features that are a delight to both behold and ride!

Often used by the local NICA team for practice, Beginner B finishes at the Walter Taitt Trail just past a bridge over a rocky, scenic ravine with seasonal waterfalls, and the Beginner C trail begins a few yards north of this on the southwest side of the Walter Taitt Trail to continue the beginner loop. Don't miss this one!
