Need to Know

The river can be crossed to the north if it's flooded out by following the river until you reach a cluster of rocks. Yield to pedestrians.

Description

The trail begins in Guilford descending quickly over rocks and logs, then crosses over the Neck River which can be flooded out after heavy rain or during the spring.

On the other side is Madison where the trail turns into smooth doubletrack which flows down a small incline, turning back into singletrack for a gentle climb out to Opening Hill Road.
