Dogs are allowed on the lower portion of the trail but once you cross into the Santa Monica Mountains no dogs.

Description

Surprisingly I have not experienced this trail being very busy. A pretty easy gradual climb that tops out near Temescal Peak. Lush greenery on both sides of the trail. Trail is exposed and can be hot in the summer. (no shade)

Fun trail! Went a little further to eagle rock then turned around. Some steep/bumpy sections but nothing too technical.
