Description
From the parking lot, ride north on
Lee Road (dirt) where the pavement ends. At mile 0.3, you'll pass a campground road on your right. At mile 1.2, take a right to turn onto
Clayroot Road (Right Fork), road names are not posted, but this may help if using the DNR map (
gadnrwrd.maps.arcgis.com/ap…).
At mile 2.75, turn off the gravel road to descend on an old road that seem like it only sees ATV traffic anymore. This is still Clayroot Rd. When you hear the creek, turn left to follow it. Cross at mile 4.5. Then begin climbing back up to a parking lot on the edge of the WMA property.
After crossing the powerlines and getting back onto pavement (still Clayroot Rd), you are off the WMA property. Take all right turns to get back to the start. Narroway Church Cir,
Narroway Trail (gravel), Tibbits Rd, Braswell Mtn Rd, Lee Rd.
This route can be used to link up other gravel sections in the area. (Mountain Rd, Cochran Rd, McPherson Church Rd, etc)
