Description

Granite Gorge embraces the large granite slabs and boulders of Giants Ridge. Shortly after the trail starts, there are two lines. The A line takes you down into a Gorge formed by two giant slabs of Granite, while the B line rolls off the steep, but smooth side of the slab.

The trail then crosses a ski run and turns a corner on an incredible granite berm. The trail then continues to alternate between granite slabs and granite rock panels. As the trail moves lower down the mountain, there a few short sections of dirt. After one final massive rock panel, the trail turns to the left, crosses two ski runs and joins up with the lower section of Goliath.
