Trail is about two minutes east of Holland Patent and about two minutes south of Mapledale/Barneveld. Southern trail is probably wheelchair friendly, Northern is not.

There are two parts to this trail, parking for both is on Powell Rd. Space for 4-5 cars.

South trail is a flat, gravel path that leads for about 0.5 miles to a massive concrete spillway that drops about 100m. Small picnic area at the end. There is also a small, metal bridge at the end.

North trail is more rugged. Once past the metal gate (to keep out ATV/cars) it transitions from grass to dirt. Trail follows the canal until it meets some corn fields and passes trough a long field. Then it re-enters the forest along the canal and becomes more hilly and curvy. Trail ends abruptly, without markers at the side of a highway (RT 12) near the outlet of Hinman Rd.
