Very popular trail, fairly easy, any features are roll-able or ride around. Out and back so far, go as far as you want.
Parking fees in any and all recommended parking areas.
Overview
The trail is very popular on weekends. Two way riding, so if you go on the weekend in good weather be prepared to run into (hopefully not literally) a lot of trail users. This can present a problem for blind corners and hills that are designed for speed.
Need to Know
Parking fees. Heavy bike/foot traffic requires slow riding in areas.
Description
The trail is a very well groomed, manufactured, lots of fun berms and pops, some punchy climbs, fun descents, and several areas to see the beautiful views along the lakeshore. A few sections have some pucker factor steep hillside and slightly narrow spots. All level riders can tackle this trail. Still being improved and adding sections, currently it's an out and back (roughly 11 miles from dam to Big Bend). Plans are to continue around the whole lake (40ish miles). Lake and park are also part of the trail, easily accessed for a swimming and picnic.
