Begin at the main map/kiosk area near the main parking lot, then begin on
Genesis. This first section is really fast and fun with a couple of optional rock features.
Turn left when you reach the access road and climb for approximately a quarter mile until you see
Crown of Thorns on your right. This quarter-mile long downhill trail is a blast! Berms, tabletops, jumps, skinnies, it's got it all, but the features are all optional, so you can play it safe, too. After approximately a quarter mile,
Crown of Thorns will merge back into
Genesis and you'll continue down another quarter mile or so of fast fun XC downhill.
Stay on
Genesis and enjoy the scenery for a while with some modest terrain and a somewhat difficult climb. Eventually, you'll reach the top of what will be the longest descent of the route. You should see
Atonement right next to it. This downhill segment is all about speed, so let it rip!
When you reach the fork at the bottom, stay left and take the
Revelation Connector. This will end at a paved road which you'll want to ride straight across towards
Revelation. There's a cool rollable rock option on the right if you're feeling spicy! Continue all the way down
Revelation until you reach the lake.
From there, turn left on the bridge, then turn left on the paved road, then take a right and climb up the paved road until you see a turnaround. Look to the left and you'll see
Revelation once again. Continue down some easy terrain and cross a creek, then enjoy another fun downhill segment that ends on a gravel road. Turn left on the paved road again and then look for
Revelation once more.
From here, it's going to be a long climb back up, so be ready for a haul. Once at the top of
Revelation, begin pedaling up the paved road for about 500 feet, then take a left on
Genesis. Continue climbing for another quarter mile or so then enjoy some easier terrain until you reach the Passion Play entrance. From here, look for the crosswalk and cross the street cautiously to enter into the Marble Flats Trail System.
Stay on
Happy Little Trail and look for the massive optional gravity cavity on the right. Try if you dare! Eventually, you'll connect with the original Marble Flats trail that'll take you through some beautiful pine forests. Stay on the main trail all the way to the DH hub.
From here, take
Pthalo Green. This is a super fun but short beginner-friendly downhill that ends in the area Marble Flats was named after. Look to the right for
Beauty is Everywhere and, after a navigating a somewhat sketchy turn, enjoy the beautiful scenery that Marble Flats is known for. Cross a service road then look right to continue on
Beauty is Everywhere.
Once you see the giant bridge on the right, reconnect with
Happy Little Trail, then turn left to begin the climb back up. After a few steep switchbacks, turn right back onto the trail you rode in on and make your way back to Passion Play. Enter through the main gates and then look left immediately for the last section of
Genesis.
Once you reach the parking lot, continue straight and then turn left at the main road and you're done! If you're looking for a quick cool down though, ride the first part of
Genesis again, but instead of turning left at the access road, continue directly across it onto
Exodus. Cross one more service road and continue until you come to one more service road and a sign for
Genesis.
From here, turn right up the road and you'll quickly pop back out on the main road. Turn left and ride to the parking lot.
