This is a great trail that goes deep into the wild. It ends at a water facility - going back isn't too steep.

Need to Know

Watch for bunnies!

Description

Lots of wildlife and pretty views. Not too challenging and not paved at all. This is a much better mountain bike trail compared to the paved trail to the west of this trail.

You enter at the bike crossing south of Awma Road (which is far more popular and crowded).

There are parts of this trail that are sand, and you do cross a shallow stream at the very beginning. You can easily cross over at the dam if you want to move to the paved trail.

Small dam at the crossover - stay to your left to continue on the mountain bike trail, or crossover here to the paved trail
