Need to Know

There is no direct access to this, you'll need to get to Mine Hill Trail to get to this trail.

Description

The Providencia Trail is is essentially a fire trail; however, it is a little neglected compared to the Mine Hill Trail. I liked adding this loop to my ride down Mine Hill Trail to get some extra exercise and see a little more of valley to the west.

There is a fair amount of brush towards the top (south portion) of the trail and because of a couple of sharper turns with high grades, I have recommended going from north to south. It wouldn't be impossible to reverse direction by any means, but I don't think it would be as much fun.

The views are good, but not fantastic. The trail is essentially under Mine Hill Trail.
