Overview

This out-and-back route leads from the North Trailhead parking area to the impassable boardwalk at Rockfish Creek, and back.

Description

This route is just over 27 miles long but will feel longer due to the rolling hills, spots of loose sand and/or mud, and general lack of curves. It's a great workout that passes through longleaf pine forest as it follows the border of Ft. Bragg.

There is a creek (at miles 11 and 16) that may be too deep to ride across with dry feet.

At the crossing of paved Plank Road (at miles 9 and 18), you can see a convenience store to the right about 300 yards away, if you need a snack!

This route is garbage. Long climbs and mostly loose sand. In addition, it is way longer than 27miles. Turned around at 16 no where near the turn back
