This route connects established trails with the new sections.

Parking is at the small neighborhood park on West Wing.

The route is an out-and-back that starts and finishes at the elementary school taking advantage of well designed trails that are fun to climb and fun to descend. Near the school there are usually many hikers that thin out further south. The black diamond section is the loop around the south butte which is the most technical with rock steps and drops, rideable but requires skill and commitment. If you skip the loop and turn around the route is a straight out-and-back and is Intermediate only because of the long, steady climbs. The City of Peoria built the trails specifically for MTB's and they are very well designed with interesting undulations and rock features to keep you alert.
