Description

Yellow Carsonite signs beckon you from the trailhead onto this trail. This short loop gives you a taste of the fast (if you so desire) nature of the trail with its easy climbing and mostly wide turns. In the clockwise direction, you'll start with a short descent down to the Aboothlacoosta Creek.

Assuming you've enjoyed the first part of the Yellow Trail, you'll want to take the full Aboothlacoosta Loop just across a small bridge over the namesake creek. The return leg of the Yellow Trail offers a few tighter turns, but nothing too difficult.

If you desire more difficulty, take the Brown Loop and the Dauset Connector to connect with the intermediate and advanced trails at Dauset Nature Center.
