Description

To go downhill, start at NE 60th St and 132 Ave NE in Bellevue. Follow the singletrack along houses, a golf course and Redmond West Wetlands until NE 60th St and 152 Ave NE. Cross the 520 Highway on the bridge on 60th Street and turn right on 156th St.

Ride east through Westside Park past the piquetball court to reach the second singletrack section. Follow the singletrack through the forest until reaching West Lake Sammamish Parkway.

The east end connects to Sammamish River Trail (SRT). The west end connects to Bridle Trails State park (no bikes allowed), but you can ride on NE 60th St and cross 405 over the bike bridge at the end of the street for a convenient connection to the Eastside Rail Corridor in Kirkland.

Riding west to east uphill is a great workout and good climb or cyclocross practice, as some sections are 25% steep and sometimes muddy.

Drainage is not the best, especially on the western singletrack section. Expect muddy conditions after rain.
