Description

The western terminus of this trail is at the Cabeza Prieta National Wildlife Refuge boundary just south of John the Baptist Mountains. You pass just north of Lime Hill on the way to Bates Well Road.

The western portion of this trail has some sections that are quite rocky and challenging on narrow (i.e., gravel) tires, but rideable with some skill. The central and eastern portions are much smoother with a few sandy wash crossings.
