Overview
I noticed a deficit of loop routes so I rode/made one. This takes AZT: Segment 5 - Redington Pass and the Mighty Catalinas and loops it by riding down Catalina Hwy. Open to suggestions on how to add a dirt alternative descent to that!
Need to Know
Parking is available up Redington Rd. a few miles. I didn't know this and parked on one of the shoulders of the side streets off E Tanque Verde Rd. I recommend parking at the parking lot on Redington Rd. but that means ending this monster of a loop with a climb.
There is some barbed wire fence hopping to get back on the AZT at one particular spot. I'm unsure of an alternative there.
Description
Lengthy, technical climbs with some hike-a-bike at the end. When the downhill gets going, it's fun and fast!
