Description

This trail connects Batamote Basin and Desert Railroader (BLM 8106) around a small hill, traversing narrow sandy wash crossings and sand deposits in the valley. Narrow tires (e.g., gravel bike) may make it through the sand after recent rain, but otherwise stick to wider tires if you want to avoid walking the sandier sections.

As with many trails in the Ajo area, they are easiest and great fun on a fat bike!
