Need to Know

Please do not park at the Equestrian Center, park at the southern end of the large valet parking area away from other cars.

Description

Trail begins at Shady Lane just south of the Valet Parking area. Follow the trail from the road across the grassy field and into the woods. There is a quick turn left just after you enter the woods.

Follow the trail around the hill and then up to the white fence by the horse pasture (please do not feed or pet the horses). The trail will follow the edge of woods to the far end of the field. Once you reach the end, there is a sign for the South Trail, follow it onto the narrower gravel path (there are horse/carriage trails on both sides, avoid these).

Follow the path through the woods and back to the end of Shady Lane. Take a left, then right and follow the gravel road back to Shady Lane and the trailhead.

This trail can be run in the opposite direction if you prefer.
