This one starts across the road from the trailhead map. It includes Nor'easter Trail and Pipeline. Pipeline has some more technical features that can be ridden or easily avoided.

Like much of LI, there are plenty of ticks in the park, so do yourself a favor and check yourself after your ride.

You start off on Nor'easter Trail with some ups and downs, nothing technical. The fun really begins once you keep left at the T and follow the sign to Pipeline.

This trail has some man-made obstacles that are fun to do, including a section of cement pipes that will test your nerves and balance. There are a few other man-made features that can be tricky.

Pipeline merges back into Nor'easter Trail, just keep left at the T. Some of the more challenging steep climbs are on that section as you near the finish.

These were old sand mining pits that provided sand for concrete to build NYC.
