Description
Sweet Baby Ray can be ridden either direction, but clockwise is the best way to start. Turn right off of
Connector A to head up the hill and into the pine stand (north). All downhill from there as you charge through the pines over a series of natural rollers.
The trail rounds the spur west and heads downhill further towards a fork. Take the fork right and across the long bridge (manual here is recommended) and up the series of winding turns that bring you to the top of the intersection at the top of the hill.
The intersection on top of the hill joins the connector trails, the
Volunteer Track and Sweet Baby Ray. Hang a left (south) to the parking lot or break off to another section from here.
The series of turns on Sweet Baby Ray ride really well as a fast and flowy descent. This will send you east or clockwise from the intersection. It's a great way to end the day with some practice on turns as you head back to the parking lot!
Be mindful of riders descending on the faster sections as they may not see you rounding corners.
