Flat, wide, sandy, sunny and hot, but potentially part of an amazing remote riding experience.

Depending on grass height, recent tilling, feral hog activity, and/or water levels, the firebreaks and roads can be anything from an easy spin to a brutal slog.

Need to Know

If you park at one of the gates along State Route 72, you must first get a parking pass from the main ranger station. Hours and fees can be found here: floridastateparks.org/parks…

Description

Like all the backcountry roads/trails in the park, some sections are hardpacked and grassed-over; others are sandy, muddy and/or dug up by feral pigs. Often flooded in summer. Wide tires recommended.

Most of the roads are in very remote areas of the park. There is very little protection from the sun or inclement weather, and offer no access to drinkable water. Come prepared.
