Description
The trail starts at the bridge over Turkey Creek from the
Ravines Middle trail. The trail follows the creek for several hundred yards and there are several dips and low areas. If the creek is high, these areas will be flooded.
The first part had a lot of exposed roots, so it is a little rough. Right after the trail pulls away from the creek, it splits as the rest of the trail is a loop. Either way is about the same and it is considerably smoother than the section by the creek. The trail winds up and down a low ridge with not much elevation change. Speeds are moderate as there are no long straights to pick up speed.
The trail comes close enough to the Turkey Creek sub-division to see houses. The trail loops back to the split and you can either go back to the bridge or take the access road back to
Ravines Middle. The access road is the best way to do the loop if the part by the creek is wet.
