One Way Only: This is designated as a directional trail.
Need to Know
The small parking lot has A LOT of no parking signs. Pay close attention to the signs as some prohibit parking at any time while others only prohibit overnight parking.
Description
Use the BST to climb to the 5-way intersection that connects to
Bobsled. The downhill trail is more challenging that you would initially expect based on the grade and elevation gain. The climbing portions are challenging similar to those on the other BST segments in the area and in fact, 19th Ave merges onto the BST at certain points. The downhill portion has an abundance of rollers that are big enough for riders looking to catch some air but smooth enough to allow land-based riders to stay grounded. It is recommended to take things slow your first time down to get familiar with all the rollers and switchbacks, and to make multiple repeat visits to get comfortable and fully enjoy the well-built trail.
Climbing portions share the trail with hikers. You should expect a lot of off-leash dogs on the way up. Downhill segments are 1-way for bikers only (or as the trail builders put it "wheels not heels").
