Need to Know

The trail is busy with foot traffic, so be on the lookout for hikers and dogs.

Description

This is a short, multi-use trail that follows the river up the canyon for about a mild and a half. The trail is a mixture of double and singletrack and can only be run as an out and back. While mostly moderate and intermediate trail, there are a few technical features such as large rock gardens.

Start at the parking area and simply follow the trail until it ends at the river, then flip around and enjoy a mostly downhill ride back. While not very long, this is a good trail for a quick ride or a recovery ride when not wanting to invest substantial time and effort into the Penrose Trail.
