Climbing Upper Trail 10, on the last switchback, at the gabion sign, hang a right onto Trail 12. This trail wanders through mostly open meadows and lightly forested areas to connect to the USFS boundary.

At the boundary, the USFS will be constructing a trail in the spring of 2022 that will eventually connect all the way to Happy Jack. For 2022, we anticipate that the trail will connect to the junction of West Pilot Hill Road and FS Road 703 (by the cattle guard).
