Description

This trail drops off of the Blue Ridge Parkway down a rocky, technical singletrack that dumps out onto more of a doubletrack portion of the trail. You'll need to follow this down until you see another singletrack section on the right that heads uphill. This will be just before a gravel road below, so if you hit gravel, the trail is about 50 yards back uphill.

This next section will be a bit of a climb on an old road bed that is now grown up with the trail in the middle. Not terribly steep, but lots of loose rocks will keep you on your toes.

Once it heads back downhill, prepare for more rockiness and some techy switchbacks before dumping out onto Huntingcreek Road, which is also gravel.

This is a tough section of trail, no matter which direction you ride it, but dropping off the parkway is much more fun and better downhill sections.
