Overview

This is the best way to ride all the Delaney Woods trails.

Need to Know

Mostly Town of Wells property but Bearded Hen is on private land so always thank the landowners and respect their beautiful horses and other livestock that you may encounter.

Description

Route begins and ends at the Delaney Woods parking lot on Delaney Cross Rd (Class 4 unmaintained road).

Most trails can be ridden both ways except Rocky and Bullwinkle, so first try it this direction and then add second times on your favorites. Actual mileage is closer to 6 miles with moderate elevation.

History & Background

Neat quarry hole on Quarry Trail, old 20s junk car on East Trail, and named Hammerstone Trail after finding Native American stone tool during layout of the trail.
