Overview
Loop ride beginning in town, utilizing Camp Elevation as a link between the Whipple Trails and the Midland Trails.
Need to Know
This loop ride description begins and ends in town because finishing on a downhill is fun! Also, South Main and (Old) Main Street areas have a lot to offer, including great restaurants, a hotel, bike shops, etc.
In addition to the large parking lot near South Main Street, there is also a large parking area at the east end of (Old) Main Street past the school and ball fields.
There are numerous access points to the BV Trails offering parking. The Mt. Princeton Overlook area is nice with bathrooms, but requires an entry fee or state parks pass. It's located at the bottom of
Fistful of Dollars (6034).
There is some parking at the north end of the
Midland Bike Trail and the top of
Fistful of Dollars (6034), but this can fill up on weekends, and is not at the bottom of the trail requiring a climb back to the vehicle.
There are a few parking spaces at Road 303 at the turn for the KOA. There is a short section of trail connecting from this parking to Few Dollars More Trail.
