Description

This connection adds a little flair to this popular route. I've seen it done on a gravel bike but a MTB is recommended.

Instead of heading down to the road and staying on the Coast to Crest Trail: Boat Dock to Del Dios Park, take your first right. You'll come across four progressively steeper/longer shoots. The first three are nice and mellow with the approach being 100% visible. The last one you come into blind unless you scope it out first. Stay left while dropping into this one with speed and you'll make it up the other side.

After that, it's singletrack to the road with a nice jump on the left before it. Stay on the right/east side of the road til it dead ends.
