Description
This trail starts on Gray Flats North, just before a bridge after two berms. There is a sign.
Some skinny singletrack gets us started, but after a rocky section it widens a bit. The trail is some really nice singletrack, a good amount of it smooth, and a tight spot or two. The first 0.3 miles of trail is downhill, and most of the rest is up. There's a bridge that crosses over a stream.
Once you get to a sharp turn guided by rocks on the edge, you'll go up and soon pop out at a powerline right of way. About 20 yards in front of you is the bypass, with a path leading to the sidewalk. You can get on and take a left to get back to the trail system. Or turn around and bomb downhill and climb a bit back to
Gray Flats North Trail!
The climbs in both directions aren't that bad at all, and both ways are a lot of fun to ride. And at only about a one-mile round trip, it shouldn't take that long.
This trail goes through a very nice forest, with rhododendrons all around. The trail is arguably the best flowy singletrack in the system. Have fun!
