Overview

There are four short climbs which will challenge most mountain bikers yet the short loops which make up the system can be ridden multiple times in various directions.

There are also three connector trails to the 118-mile long Paradox Trail which add to the many loop options.

Need to Know

There are no restroom facilities or water at the Nucla Trail. Restaurants and groceries can be found in both Nucla and Naturita. Check out: westendtrails.org for more area information.

Description

Beginning at the Paradox Trail - Nucla Trail parking area just east of the Town of Nucla, this singletrack trail system on town property offers hikers and mountain bikers a variety of experiences on the rocky ridges and in the arroyos which make up so much of the West End terrain.
