Family Friendly Relatively mellow grades, and smoother, predictable surface; a good introduction to Blacksburg singletrack.

Description

Fun either way, Pine Forest has a few rooty sections but is mostly smooth clay with a relatively flat gradient. The corners with various amounts of support, and steeper descents at either end of the trail are great for teaching mountain biking essentials.
