Smaller jump features and wooden features if you're wanting to work up to the bigger ones!
Need to Know
Restrooms are... primitive. Fort Gibson has a lovely tiny downtown with a coffee shop!
Description
Immediately after you enter the main trailhead at Clinkenbeard Park (the
Jean-Pierre Chouteau Trail), you'll see a sign marking "Sidewinder Trail" on your first right.
You can ride it either direction, but I prefer to climb up and to the right first, towards the wood bridge skinny spanning a gap between logs. (All features have ride around options.) At the top of the short, easy climb there's a wood starter tower to ride both jump lines.
If you ride the Sidewinder in kind of a double figure 8, you can ride both jump lines, and the second jump line dumps you out back at the entrance after another curvy wood feature.
Volunteers continue to build new features here, so maybe there will be a couple more features or lines when you ride!
